Minimally invasive ultrasound-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures performed under real-time imaging guidance. Ultrasound guidance ensures precise needle placement for accurate tissue sampling, fluid aspiration, and therapeutic interventions, significantly improving success rates and reducing complications compared to blind procedures. Our facility performs a range of image-guided procedures including fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC), core needle biopsy, abscess drainage, cyst aspiration, pleural fluid aspiration (thoracentesis), ascitic fluid aspiration (paracentesis), and catheter placements. All procedures are performed under strict aseptic conditions with local anesthesia for patient comfort. Real-time visualization of the needle tip ensures avoidance of vital structures including blood vessels and nerves. Dr. Nishant Raj has extensive experience in performing ultrasound-guided procedures with high accuracy and safety. Post-procedure care instructions are provided, and patients are monitored as needed.
