Hormone Assays
Pathology
Comprehensive hormone level testing covering a wide spectrum of endocrine markers for evaluating hormonal imbalances and endocrine disorders. Reproductive Hormones include FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone), LH (Luteinizing Hormone), Prolactin, Estradiol (E2), Progesterone, Total and Free Testosterone, DHEA-S, and AMH (Anti-Mullerian Hormone for ovarian reserve assessment). Fertility Panel includes Day 2/3 hormones (FSH, LH, E2, AMH) for ovarian function assessment. Metabolic Hormones include Insulin (fasting and post-glucose), Cortisol (morning and evening), Growth Hormone, and IGF-1. Hormone assays are essential for evaluating PCOD/PCOS, menstrual irregularities, infertility (male and female), hirsutism, erectile dysfunction, gynecomastia, precocious or delayed puberty, adrenal disorders, and pituitary disorders. Testing is performed using automated immunoassay technology with high sensitivity and specificity. Timing of sample collection is critical for many hormones — follicular phase testing (Day 2-5) is required for fertility hormones, morning samples for cortisol. Specific instructions will be provided during appointment booking.
