Comprehensive combined abdominal and pelvic ultrasound providing a thorough evaluation of all major abdominal and pelvic organs in a single session. The abdominal component covers the liver (assessing size, echotexture, focal lesions), gallbladder (stones, polyps, wall thickening), kidneys (stones, hydronephrosis, cysts, masses), spleen, pancreas, aorta, and retroperitoneal structures. The pelvic component evaluates the urinary bladder (wall thickness, stones, masses), uterus (fibroids, adenomyosis, endometrial abnormalities), ovaries (cysts, PCOD, tumors), and prostate (in males). This combined study is frequently ordered for comprehensive health check-ups, unexplained abdominal or pelvic pain, urinary complaints, and general screening. Non-invasive and completely painless, the examination uses no radiation and is safe for all age groups. Preparation typically requires 6-8 hours fasting for the abdominal portion and a full bladder for the pelvic assessment. Reports with images and measurements are available on the same day.
